From the Streets of Armenia to the Fields of France
We are proud to share that Futbol4Life will represent Colombia at the 48th edition of the Mondial de la Saint-Pierre tournament in Nantes, France, this coming April.
It’s a historic opportunity—not just for our players, but for our community and the country.
This international youth football tournament is one of Europe’s most recognized stages for under-15 players, hosting elite clubs from Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, as well as respected academies from around the world. To be invited among them is not just an honour—it’s proof that the work we’re doing in Armenia, Quindío, is being seen and valued beyond our borders.
At Futbol4Life, we use football as a powerful tool to create life-changing opportunities for children from vulnerable backgrounds. Our program combines high-level soccer training with English classes and leadership education, helping talented kids dream bigger and aim higher. Many of our participants come from neighbourhoods where opportunities are scarce. Through our work, we’ve helped young athletes earn scholarships to institutions in North America, opening doors to academic and athletic careers they might never have imagined.
This journey to France is more than just a tournament. It’s a chance for 16 of our players to step onto the international stage, to test themselves against some of the best youth teams in the world, and to represent not just Futbol4Life, but all of Colombia.
Our team will face clubs from across Europe, Asia, and Africa—teams backed by professional academies with world-class resources. But what we may lack in infrastructure, we make up for with heart, discipline, and unity. Our boys know that they’re not just playing for trophies; they’re playing for their families, their futures, and for every kid in Colombia who dreams of a better tomorrow.
We’re deeply thankful to the local press, such as La Crónica del Quindío and Telecafé, for shining a light on our story. Their support, along with the tireless efforts of our coaches, families, and community partners, is what keeps this dream alive.
As we prepare for this next chapter, we invite everyone who believes in the power of sport to follow our journey. Whether you’re a fan, a donor, or simply someone who wants to see young Colombians thrive—we welcome your support. This trip to France is just the beginning. With your help, we’ll continue to open doors, shape leaders, and change lives—one goal at a time.
